Got the following from a member, I did a test and recreated the same problem but now I cannot find the code to change the code!! please someone help me.

The link contains extra letters..... "/news.php" is not needed.

Should be:
http://www.homeroasters.org/php/register.php?activate=24c19854203e93d4b4acc26f0312e933

After I changed the web address, I got the activated verification.<<<<<

Admin Panel >> Settings >> Main Settings

find Site URL:

and change it to http://www.homeroasters.org/

Hi again I changed the url to homeroasters.org and got

Your browser can't find the document corresponding to the URL you typed in.<<<

after I activated a new member, me just with another email address.

any thoughts?

very cool, I had gone way back when Nick set me up (he set up the forum for me ages ago and I found my notes) and he had forgotten he added the php; I changed it after you mentioned the .org and sure enough all is working very well.

Still not sure how it got changed in the first place, little things come into my computer at night!!
