Im using PHP-fusion to create a site for the disabled. I already created ADA2000.org, now I want to create one for social purpose. Im co-founder of it. I will appreciate any tips and help you can offer us to make PHP-Fusion work smoothly for this project. Im new to it, so please bear with me if I sound ignorant. Thanks

Upload theme files - the folder with theme name (eg Modern10), which contain styles.css , theme.php etc, in the folder called "themes".

And select your theme (in your profile or main site settings).

Just upload the theme to /themes folder. It should be like :
/themes/theme_name/theme.php
/themes/theme_name/styles.css
/themes/theme_name/other files.....

Then go to Admin Panel --> Settings --> Main and Change the Theme.

As far as the panels displaying, would depend on which theme you've uploaded. Also keep in mind, v6 themes may not be compatible with v7 core. Not sure if that's your scenario or not, but may save you some time in the future.
