Old-school news mod

Hi all,
There are many good things to say about the new version 9, but there is one thing I really miss and need.
It would nice with a normal old-school style news page as we know it from all the older version of PHPFusion.
Just like on this samples: PHPFusion Denmark or My own page
I know the times are changing, but this thumb view and list view it's not so userfriendly (to say it a nice way).
I hope we can get a more old-school way to show our news at our sites. A solution could be by another news.php page and/or by a panel which can do the trick.
Besides this point, I have not much else to complain about with v9 :-)
I hope someone can help me and others with a more user-friendly and old-schoolway to show news on our pages.
