posts can the forum hold? as i will be using this system with a very active forum and don't want the website system to run slower due to so many posts? is there a tool in the admin where it clears posts over 300 days or something?

there is a prune function in system admin, forum settings
the system shouldn't slow down recogniseable due to many posts anyways
