I have a php 4 database. How to upgrade it on my ipower webhosting server. I want it to be php 5.0.0 so I can use install my wiki database, which requires php 5.0.0

This is not core support, thread moved.

You have to ask your host to upgrade to PHP 5, which they will tell you they probably won't, as it's a major upgrade, requires quite some time, and may break many applications not fit for PHP 5 yet. They will most likely upgrade it some time in the future. But, please try, because you may be lucky (like I have been) to have a host who wll upgrade.
