I don't understand what you meen by running windows. I doesn't matter what YOU are running, it probably matters what the server is running.
I have the exact same problem on another server. Please help

Remember to set your site url correct in :
System Admin -> Main settings -> Site URL:

If you don't, it may cause your sendmail to not function.

so if your url for your website is www.nakedchicks.wauw
then you type that in the Site URL

I had the same problem for some time ago.. i typed in my site url and it work perfectly.

:)

I'm having the same problem with my sendmail failing. I checked the address (its entered in as: http://www.domain.com) and it seems that P-F adds the ending slash when you save changes.

So, I'm out of ideas why it stopped working suddenly, as it was working for a while. No server side changes, no changes to P-F admin panels, and I re-uploaded the sendmail files to make sure they weren't corrupted.

Any other suggestions?

if your site is on a dedicated server you could try using its IP address for the site url.

Does P-F automatically add in a / at the end of the domain name in the main settings? Cause I type it in as www.domain.com and it comes back as www.domain.com/ when I save it.

I thought this was the solution as well. Strangely, however, as I said, it adds it back when you hit apply... A vicious circle of deleting and applying and adding slashes back in automatically... ;) with no solution.

I believe this may be an issue with SMTP and Sendmail. My hosting does not allow Sendmail, simply because of rDNS issues. Hence, PHP mail() does not work for me. However, I have put in SMTP info and it does not override the Sendmail code, I assume as I still get a Sendmail Failed message even with SMTP info in place.

Perhaps this may shed some light on this issue.
