same here.. even worse in the admin area where i want edit say an artikel categorie.. then i want to reedit it it stil has the old database content..

How do i get phpfusion to refresh the database content every time people click on a page.

For now you need to click on refresh (or alt F5) to see new content.. Dont think this is normal right? Got it on 2 testsites, both same problem.

I see it reloads certain blocks but it feels like cache pages.. weird. not had this problem with any other cms/portal on my hosting servers.

I don't think it's a php-fusion error. I use it on my sites and I don't believe there's a cache, other than that of your browser. I see no difference with php-fusion compared to other cms on other sites.
I've checked with IE7 and FF2.
Try disabling the cache in your browser and check again.

problem occurs on both IE7 and FF2 both on windows vista. wil give it a try on my other pc later.. thing is all forums and websites i use work properly.. except the 2 phpinfusion testsites

Another noticable problem is dat after i log in as admin i have to refresh each page (forum articles etc) to get rid of the login option on the right.. i am logged in but the pages are some sort of cache pages, not reloaded pages.

I will test my proxy settings again later to (i have a lan so it should all be without proxy).. but it seems more people do have these problems.

Oh yeah.. i also have the problem of not being able to logout as admin.

Well, I'm on Windows XP. When I log in as admin through a proxy, the login option changes to user info. No refresh needed...
If it was a php-fusion error, everybody visiting a php-fusion site would have that error, and everybody logging in would keep the login option on the right.
At least, that's what my logic tells me. There could be more logics to it, perhaps?

Don't get my previous reply wrong, I'm not saying the problem does not exist. And I know you tend to think that it's a php-fusion bug.
I'm just saying it could well be something else, like proxy caching, local browser caching or even caching on the host?

Super Admin

Quite simply, its a local cache issue, edit maincore.php:

After <?php insert the following:

header("Expires: Mon, 26 Jul 1997 05:00:00 GMT");
header("Last-Modified: ".gmdate("D, d M Y H:i:s")." GMT");
header("Cache-Control: no-store, no-cache, must-revalidate");
header("Cache-Control: post-check=0, pre-check=0", false);
header("Pragma: no-cache");

See if that helps :).

Done that, stil got the problem that i need to click on refresh before it shows any new categories (etc). kinda getting the feeling it might be my hosting company... hmmm

But that would be strange because then it wouldn't show after a ctrl F5 either right?

hmmm so maybe my provider is caching? strange thing is that i have it on both IE and Firefox

Maybe support here wants to create an account so that i can make them admin?

http://www.webants.info/fietsforum/ going to be placed at www.fietsforum.nl but i am still testing the functionalities.

thanxs in advance..

wow,

i did a reset of my router (siemens experiabox) and it all works again..

BUT i had to include Digitanium solution too in the maincore.php, strange but it works for now, I will keep an eye on it.

thanxs
