Registration problems

Since upgrading to the latest version (.9), registration seems to be broken.
When users register, I can see them waiting to be activated in the fusion_new_user table, but they don't apear under the admin panel (Unactivated members: 0).
When they activate themselves, they don't apear in the fusion_users table, and they simply disapear.
Anyone else having these problems?

I disabled the image verification and verification via email, and it worked. I'm not happy about this (recent spam bot attacks), but I can live with it.
