OK,
Let me say first that I think PHP-fusion is AWESOME. It's great. It's the greatest thing since sliced bread... but...
First my news items get spammed with porn so I disable the comments in each of them
Then my guestbook gets the same, the only option I have is to disable posting to the guestbook
Then digitanium posts that we should disable registrations... so new members can't join until I have a chance to guess whether they are a spammer .. and activate them.. so they go away never to return because they weren't able to access the site.
A couple of days ago a guy posts on the guestbook how much his kids love my site... today the next five posts after that in the guestbook is teen porn spams. How good is that for my image????
I've about had it with this. Who is doing it, why?
C'mon, you guys are geniuses, I'm sure there's a way to nip this in the bud right now...

I altered the spam protected guestbook and created a public guestbook for spammers and made the other guestbook for members only. So, I have two guestbooks, one for members only and one for the public (spammers).
At least until guestbook entries can be approved by admin.
