The code BB tag in use in Fusion is very simple and not all that robust, it doesn't even strip smilies and when you're doing heavy script work using a forum as a Developer CMS thats pretty annoying because every ); becomes a smiley if you forget to disable them when you post.

Anyways is anyone aware of a mod or infusion for Fusion that adds a bit more effective code handling on fusion based websites? Preferably something that uses a language definition file like a common license editor.

Would be cool if there was one. Cause the handling of code in the fusion forums is pretty basic and not as robust as I'd prefer.

Thanks all.

The BBCode System will be much more powerful and easier to modify in v7. The Smiley parsing problem is already dealt with.
