I figured I should ask this in here as it deals with content. I upgraded to v7 yesterday, started looking through my mods to see what i would need to change within them to get them to work. Well one of the things that I found was a:
Notice: Undefined variable: type in blah blah blah
Now I know that this is because I have an if statement of:
if ($type == "") {
I never got this notice with v6, so I figured it might be something with v7, how would I make this go away?

sure it works. notices are no errors btw. they just show up sloppy coding. everything should work as before. If you want to hide the notices, you can change this line in maincore.php: error_reporting(E_ALL); => error_reporting(E_ALL ^ E_Notice);
Thats an even better fix Matonor, but you said it would work ... but I've got that in the code now and it still shows it :( and I'd like to learn the proper way to have it in there lol.
