Moving to a subdomain

Hi,
OK I have moved my Fusion V7 site into a Directory like puplic_html/v7site/
I have created a subdomain and made it for the v7site directory.
I changed the Site URL in Admin>>System Settings>>Main to the new subdomain URL.
I have moved the V7 Site files from public_html to v7site Directory.
I am now waiting for the subdomain to activate before I can see if it is ok.
My question is......
Is there anything else I Should do? and the Directory v7site is chmodded to 777 is 777 correct for the v7site directory where my site is?

Tell your users on the domain they usually go to (not the subdomain). Other than that, you've pretty much covered everything.

Yeh I posted a new about the new subdomain and there is a forward on the old domain anyway so no one will get lost.
Oh the Chmod question I found out 711 does it just like public_html is.
