You don't have to know any PHP to set the site up.

All you have to do is download the .zip file, unzip it, and upload it to the webserver. Then you have to create a database and write down the database username, database name, database password and database host. Then go to the directory (the webaddress, such as http://site.com/ or http://site.com/php-fusion/ ) and setup.php will start automatically. Then you just do the simple steps that are on the page.

If you need more help, pm me.

Well, that's for PHPFusion...

And if you install infusions and/or mods, it can get a bit more complicated.

And once you get the site up, go to admin panel -> system admin -> main settings to edit the main settings.

For general reference you can still use the v6.01 handbook at http://www.php-fusion.co.uk/downloads...?cat_id=15. The setup procudere is basically the same for v7.

Just to encourage you:

I have no coding skill worth mentioning and started using php-fusion about 1 year ago.
Installing it with the read me file at hand made my installation as simple as possible. That was with version 6.
Now with version 7 it's even more simple and very intuitive.

Just have a go at it. You'll see it will be done in less than an hour (depending on your link speed mostly).
And believe me, this community is a good fall back in case you run into problems with php-fusion.

And, when you're happy with your installation, have a look at the mods site and the theme site. You'll find plenty of add-ons you will like...
