well i have a problem. i have that infusion, but if it is necessary an email...well.. on my site for now doesnt work the mail stuff :( and i don't know what pass i put on admin stuff

and btw, how can i edit the profile of an other admin?

and on my is working email and not resetet agen heheheh :(

The easiest way to edit your password if you dont recall it is to go into phpmyadmin, which your host should provide access to, for your database.

1) Find the users table and find your accounts information usually User ID 1 if you're posting on this site.

2) Then Click the pencil or Edit button next to your account's information

3) Find the area for users_admin_password.

4) Type in your desired password.

5) There should be a drop down box to the left of the box you typed your password in. It should be in the Column called "function". Click this box and select md5.

6) Hit the save/go button

7) Click the edit botton again in front of your account information

8) Now you should find a 13 character jumble in the user_admin_password field .... go to the function drop down box again and select MD5 again.

9) Hit Save/Go again.

And voila your password is now changed.

Im using PHP Fusion 6 and I have an Admin Password Issue. Someone is logging onto the Admin account and shouldn't be. I dont even know what the admin password is, as I created a new account with Super Admin rights at the start of things. Is there a way to Delete the plain ADMIN account or reset the password. Ive tried the Infusion and it wouldnt work for me. Ive also looked for in manually. Can someone please point me in the right direction. Post or PM me plz.

admin password is only available in v7 upgrade or go to phpmyadmin and change the settings in there

hey .. I have lost my password and admin password ..

i have recovered the password ,using PhpMyAdmin, but the admin password i still cant recover it , i am stuck , i need to back up , plz help , i dont know where is the problem but still cant change the admin password !! help plz

Change ADMIN password in phpmyadmin to YOUR password.

In version 7.00.05 having issue with admin too. I keep getting invalid user and or password.

I even did the setup for a third time, and now did some of the ideas from above and nothing. It just won't work,

to test I even selected an easy pass such as "1"

and nothing the user works fine.

just not the admin side
any other ideas or unless if its a known bug thank you

Theres a manual way to fix this. Go to phpmyadmin >> users table >> SQL >> enter in (Change "111111" to your desired password or change it after in your profile):



I too had this problem but fixed it.
