I have another Copyright Footer question...

Acording to the GNU
"Powered by PHPFusion" is optional but is requested for clarity purposes;
This particular line is optional, by saying that this is requested, this does not mean that it is mandatory!

If I were to put this in my footer would it be in accordance with the GPL?:

PHPFusion © 2009 Nick Jones - Released Under GNU Affero GPL v3

Linking both PHPFusion & GNU Affero GPL v3

I would prefer to have the above rather than what I have now which is...

Powered by PHPFusion copyright © 2002 - 2009 by Nick Jones.
Released as free software without warranties under GNU Affero GPL v3.

Hi guys,

just wanted to check if this version of copyright notice is still applicable? If so, I'd like to use it.

Then just leave the copyright notice as it is in the standard thems, and you'll be fine

I don't think that anyone is trying to prosecute you for not dotting your i's and not crossing your t's. They just want you to recognize that the piece of material that you're using came from them...At least that's what I think anyway.

Hey another Question regarding Copyright notice...

What If I wanted to add my own version note to the footer after the "Powered by PHPFusion" part?

Like this...

Powered by PHPFusion Special Edition V1.00 copyright © 2002 - 2009 by Nick Jones.

Would that be violating the AGPL or is that ok to do that?

Thanks
Craig
