How to edit the registration page?

I'm looking for a way to edit pages (NOT content pages like articles and news posts), but pages such as the registration page and some other pages. By editing the page, I mean customizing it, like change some of the wording, adding some intro text, etc.
I tried going to my web host's file manager, and pulled up the register.php page, but it made no sense to me. Dx I can't seem to edit the registration page through the admin panel either.
P.S. Sorry if I posted this in the wrong category, but it was the closest that I could find that matched with my question. :P
