Just an interesting thing I noted from my php-fusion 6 website, if I click on a download link in my download pages, a new window opens as expected, but suddenly instead of the download being launched, the new window points me straight back to my websites index?

I've verified the links to the files in question, and it might not even be the fault of php-fusion, but i'm totally insure where to go from here.

any ideas? (see the problem for yourself at http://www.krismason.org)

PHPFusion 6 does not have any "download" folder.

If you create a new download, you have to put in a url/link to the download item.
How do the urls of your download items look like?

They look like this:

http://www.krismason.org/files/loops/loop_arp.mp3

They DID work, I just noticed it suddenly stopped for some reason...I reuploaded the php files thinking one might have become corrupt, but it didn't seem to help...

Bit lost I'l admit!

Well, I meant the folder that hosts your downloads which in your case is files/loops/
The first thing to do is check the folder is still where it should be and still contains ONLY the downloads you put there.
Also, check its permissions

If I try to download the file "http://www.krismason.org/files/loops/loop_arp.mp3" it does not work.
But this is not a problem of PHPFusion.
Ask your hoster what the problem is.
Maybe you uploaded a .htaccess file which is wrong configurated.

To add the link, you just have to add the link. The way dakta did it should be correct. Even if it's PF 6 it shouldn't have problem. I've been using the download system in PF 6 too few years ago and it's just fine.
