Hi..

Isnt there anyone who have been thinking of this idea for an infusion or program?

To create Themes by using the webpage or an additional program. Many people who use phpfusion isnt known to html. I myself only know basic stuff but not advanced. What would be cool to see is a Themes maker for phpfusion, so those people who dont know how to make themes and with minimal knownledge about html and css is helped to design their own themes.

I hope someone out there who are advanced enough to make this actually put some time to do so

Regards,

Honeyy

while i understand where you are coming from... learning css and html is quite easy. I never took any classes, its just a simple process of trial and error. I think as a whole, most of the community knows html and css.

My question was, if this was good for the community, i dident ask if it was good for you personally if you already develop themes.

Ok. Still I don't think it's a good idea because all WYSIWYG-editors = What You See Is What You Get-editor is making some crappy code(s). If theme's is going to be released under such conditions - then I would definitely not use some of these themes. I prefer a good coded/written theme that's validating after the W3C-standard. And you can't find one WYSIWYG-editor that don't messes the code up. That's simply not made yet..

Just take the TinyMCE-editor as an example: This crap is really messing your code up!

I think it's a good idea.It would attract a lot of users and allow them to customize php-fusion even easier.

One of the problems with php-fusion is that you are forced to distribute your own themes under the license. This makes it difficult to differentiate your site from others.

I do not agree with smokeman that it is impossible.Take the integrated designer of C# as a clear example of that.

However, I believe it is a complex and difficult task. The question is whether someone has the skills and the ressources to do it.

The best to do this is integrate an infusion with ThemeRoller from JqueryUi
