Four questions/issues:

[olist=1]When I submit News in the simple format I have no issue, but if I go to the edit screen I get an error when I hit Save News "Bad Request. Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request." What did I do wrong?

Photo submission - I have a photo that acts odd. I can't upload it on it's own or I get "Your Photo could not be submitted. Image must be a GIF, JPEG or PNG file." however I was able to edit another post and upload it, as well as re-saving it as a JPG in Photoshop. What's going on here?

Is there any way I can add an extra question to the registration process? As a way of only allowing certain people to register without needed admin approval for all registration.

Is there a way to make the default submissions of news & photos be member, instead of public?
[/olist]

Thank you very much for your help!

Hi. What is the version number of the cms?

I think first, before we tackle into this, try reupload your files. It's weird edit news saves to 404. Bad request means form action is incomplete.. Or bad URL. Either config is wrong or file upload incomplete.

main settings in admin...
Did you set up internal server host name as local host and site settings is your http://www.whatever.com/ ? Those 2 are very important.

For photos, please check folder permissions.

First, my apologies for the super late response, life gets busy. The good news is I re-uploaded and configured and the first two issues are fixed.

But I'm still curious about these questions:
[olist=1]Is there any way I can add an extra question to the registration process? As a way of only allowing certain people to register without needed admin approval for all registrations.
Is there a way to make the default submissions of news & photos be member only, instead of public?[/olist]

Lastly, I'm using the latest v7.02.07. Thanks again for your help!
