Getting close, about 75% done per my liking. I still need to figure out those photo gallery and video gallery things. And have posted a request for a form for members to upload information and an image of their Jeep. AND... still want to fix the heading logo. It's just not perfect enough for me.

Just in case if you don't know, you can further customize render_news and render articles to customize the template for news and articles.
It's in the theme.php as well.

Looks good, but on my 15.6" monitor from my laptop, the information on three of your panels is too wide for the panel itself. I would show you a screen dump if I could figure out how to add it to these replies.
The panels in question are:
The calendar...not all of the days fit into the banner on the right side
The Login with Facebook banner extends beyond the panel
The Follow Us Facebook banner/image extends beyond the panel.
You might have to widen the panels, shorten the banners or change the theme. Otherwise, looks good.

Yeah, I kind of figured that out today when I looked at it on my phone. I'll have to adjust a few things for it to look better via phones and tablets.
