Most Read Forum Threads?

So i searched and found not what i really wanted.
I found panels for news and articles. But not forum threads.
There where codes, and i looked at it for a while and thought to myself... Nah still have no clue on how to do that.
I need a side panel that shows most read forum threads.
How would one go about getting that?

I have coded such a panel in the past. Take a look here (top center panel) how it looks. It is called " Trio panel with latest threads, news and articles". (it is evolved in Most read subjects, Most active subjects, Latest subjects )
