No, form_textarea do not have URL validator, and all url is posted as is 'text'
Now, form_text is a different thing when you use "type" => "url" as the input settings.
It will not accept invalid site. Because PHPFusion 9 will do a CURL ping against the server and if no ping response or DNS failure, the field will not pass check. If you do not intend to validate a "100% working url" , then don't set as url.
