I am testing the latest V9 and I don't know which file I need to edit to change the site favicon from the default icon to my own favicon. Not looking for an addon to do it for me. I just need to know which file I need to edit to change it to my own favicon.

I finally found it under themes/render_functions.php

Anything that has function_exists checks can be overriden by your theme.

Copy and paste that function into your theme and change your icons path
