I am trying to migrate from an older file sharing type system and would like to use PHPFusion but uploading all the files from the old system one at a time would be very tedious and time consuming.

Is there any way at all to move them over en mass to make this easier?

You would need a more comprehensive migration script for it, to inject to database and also set correct paths and filenames for the download, so there is no easy way unless one already exist.
