A very strange scenario. I d/l'ed a fresh copy of 8.00.23. The files home.php and install.php are missing. Help !!

V8 does not have these files.

The latest version has a small bug, - in administration > bbcodes empty squares are displayed instead of smiles.

The path to the site in the main settings is "/".

These icons are not displayed on "AppServ". On sites that are on Linux hosting, everything is correctly displayed.

AppServ for Windows is not very suitable for php fusion.

Check that config.php has: $db_driver = "pdo";
I had the same problem with $db_driver = "mysql";
