Hello everyone

I am installing new stable version of Php Fusion 8.00.50 just downloaded from the downloads.

After the installation when I click Forum link I am gettin below error;

db_handlers/mysqli_functions_include.php
Trying to get property 'num_rows' of non-object Line: 90

I tried to delete and install several times. I did everything according to read me file. Still same.

Does anyone know the solution or had this before?

Thanks in advance for help.

Super Admin

Sounds like a zero content report. I think you need to add some forums in the Admin and it will go away.

Hi again

I deleted everything including database. Made them again freshly.

I made forum categories and forums. I made article categories. Then I visited the front end getting same error :

Error: Expression #13 of SELECT list is not in GROUP BY clause and contains nonaggregated column 'allabout_dream.t.thread_id' which is not functionally dependent on columns in GROUP BY clause; this is incompatible with sql_mode=only_full_group_by There are no Forums defined.

And when I check the error log under the link :

db_handlers/mysqli_functions_include.php
Trying to get property 'num_rows' of non-object Line: 90

I got this.

Any ideas?

Hello Ernst

Sorry for my late reply. I was hopeless and searching for alternatives.

To make it clear; If I do the change you advice, will I still have to contact with hosting provider and ask them to change the php setup of mysql?

And one more thing the same thing happens with the articles too. So if I do the similar change with articles will it work too?

Thank you for your time and support.

More and more MySQL servers are running in STRICT MODE with web hosts. Such rework is then unfortunately necessary. But all changes for the STRICT mode continue to work normally even in the weighted mode. Therefore, those responsible should change PHP fusion to STRICT MODE. Then it is usable again for all users!

Sorry for the bad english.
