I have tried to install the newest 9.03.80 several times, but every time I'm stuck at: Unable to connect with MySQL database.

I have tried using a working database and also a new (empty) database without luck.

Installation is hosted here at php-fusion ...

How to get past this point?

host is localhost, user always start with account prefix. ie, user = helmuth2_USER and database name is same helmuth2_DataBase

Rob tried it on same server as you have yesterday and it worked for him, not sure what is going on here. 
Send me a PM with the space you are trying to install or in a Ticket and i´ll take a look at it for you.
1, Database target.
2, User for it.
3, The directory / domain.
