I need help for solving a problem, arose on a site, which prevents the operative access to administrators. Once the administrator gives user and password the system opens correctly the four choices menu on top-right. Whenever any choice (including the admin panel) is selected, the system consider it as a logout. As administrator I don’t have therefore any possibility to update or modify the site. All the other operative functions  are ok. I have downloaded a backup copy of the files,  without discovering any discrepancies. So the problem probably resides in the db. Unfortunately I don’t have a backup copy of the db and moreover I am not able to read the content of it. The site is a parochial site and it is very active on these (Xmass) days. Thank you in advance for any help and suggestions.

In order to upgrade I need to access the admin menu, that is exactly what I am prevented to do.
I am looking for a walkaround solution.
Saying V7 is not supported you mean that nobody of community's experts or volonteers can help anymore?

If you are upgrading to v9, just upload new v9 files. Then run site.com/install.php More info -> https://www.php-fusion.co.uk/infusion..._id_id=303

It's not supported by core developers but we can still help with the upgrade.

You need to check settings for site_host, siteurl and site_path

Check the settings with phpmyadmin, in the table yourprefix_settings
