In PHPFusion 7, it was possible to add a large number (whole directories) of photos to albums in the gallery. It was a convenient function, but the photos added in this way had no description - which is now necessary in PHPFusion 9.
The gallery after upgrading from v7 / 8 to v.9 generates errors in some albums, caused by the lack of description of photos. In some themes, the lack of an image description causes the "previous-next" buttons to be cut (attachment).
In an extensive website - where there are several thousand photos - it is difficult to "manually" correct these errors. Could it be possible in future amendments to introduce a function that would insert the name of the file in the absence of a description of the photo - eg DSCNXXXXX, imgXXX etc.?
OK - the photo description is optional for newly added photos. When upgrading from PHPFusion v.7 / 8 to v.9 and updating / activating the Gallery, the need to describe the photo is enabled by default. If any photo in the album has no description - an error with the following content appears:
But this is not a serious matter - it does not affect the operation of the website. Since button clipping is not related to this - this problem can be omitted.
With SEO enabled, an image in the gallery that has no description will not be displayed. Tested on versions v.9.03.110 and unofficial yet v. 9.10 Andromeda.
