First, I'm running 9.10.20 for the site, using Darkcore theme, when I switch to another theme, my links show up but no data in the center windows.

My Question is: [big]Do I need to re-enter the data in Settings/Main?[/big]

Thanks Gene (Now braindead :-) )

Ah, now I see it. These themes have a custom concept landing page. If you look in the configuration the home module is disabled.

/templates/home.php
// Make sure Core´s default home modules are disabled before override
define('DISABLE_HOME_MODULES', TRUE);

If you want ordinary content to display you need to remove the include of this.
Simply open theme.php and remove
require_once THEME.'templates/home.php';
