I have a question for the Core Developers. Is it at all possible to modify Fusion 8.00.100 Gillette Theme to make it completely bootstrap ready and mobile friendly? I'm not talking about you guys doing it I'm talking about doing it myself. May be a long shot but I would like to know.

It should not be an issue at all. The problem is that rest often use tables, such as news, articles etc. So you need to try and contain it well with CSS, perhaps grid wrapper.
