New versions are under way

We are pleased to announce the forthcoming release of v7.02.05. In these days, we are applying the finishing touches to this version in the form of bug fixes. Furthermore, I would like to present some of our initial considerations for the development of the next major version of PHPFusion, v8. The aim is to make the next major version of PHPFusion less community-orientated by reducing the size of the core and releasing modules as officially supported add-ons. In consequence we consider it essential to make PHPFusion more extendible by add-ons. We would like to take this opportunity to make it clear once and for all that PHPFusion will always remain lightweight and easy to use and modify - even for novices. If you would like to get involved with the core development, please feel free to register on PHPFusion NEXT. If you want to join the development team, please fill out the staff application form - we are always looking for burgeoning talents. Watch for the news!
