You get the login box but when you log in you just come back to the login box?

Clean cache and delete cookies and press F5.

sound strange, did you try to upload all the files again, something could be missed in the uploading process.

Hello, welcome on this site.

Please read the CoC:
http://php-fusion.co.uk/coc.php

And change cour title:

Quote

2.2 Describing title on all threads

All thread titles must be as specific as possible regarding your problems of needs. That increases your chances on getting a fast and accurate reply and you will help us maintaining a clean forum with good overview.

Examples of subjects that shall not be used is e.g:. 'Help Me?', 'How do I fix this?' or 'This does not work!!!'. In worst case your thread might be deleted.

The title of your thread is as important as the rest of the thread is. If you do not manage to name the thread in a way which describes your problem or need, you can not expect to get a valuable answer from others. Naming threads correctly is also important for others who are viewing or searching the forum for help.

One reason could be your title of the thread.
If I only read the title "PLEAAAAAASE HELP ME", the thread is one of the last where I look into.
And by the way your new title "What ever .." is not better.

I repeat myselt:

Geez, you're saying that this problem is happening to 12 people, yet thousands of others using this CMS are not having this problem. I wonder where the problem is.......

For the record, I use Firefox 3.09, however I have IE7 on a Vista laptop and I have no trouble logging in, and I also have IE6 on an XP machine and have no problems logging in there either.
