I looked at that I see .main-content .cap { this is for all you need to change something for you.

Edit the line font-size: 2.05em;
.main-content .cap {
  margin-top: 15px;
  color: #333;
  font-family: Lato, sans-serif;
  font-size: 2.05em;
  font-weight: 700;
  line-height: 1.3em;
  padding-bottom: 2px;

Thank you for your time.

I tried it but this simply decreased the size of all titles, including those for each news item.

So unfortunately it does not suppress the top title but changes the layout for the rest of the page.

Incidentally, I posted here, but maybe this is not theme-related?

Good theme! It is a pity only that the maximum size of 960. Visitors of my site, has large screen size.
Does anyone, tried to increase the size to 1200px? Share the instruction.

@ zizub: obviously, you do. I would say this is related to the rg1.css but it's really a hassle to check the changes you want to make...
My purpose was the opposite: to make my sites compatable with the smaller tablets and phones as Google Webmaster Tools Team wrote to me indicating sites not fit for phones would be poorly considered...
Maybe related to Google's plan to launch it's own mobile network.

@ helmuth: I admit I removed the hardcoded text - except for Craig's and PHPFusion's copyrights, of course.

Sorry to be a nuisance but I have another question...

My "mobile size menu" show the site links twice although I checked they are not repeated and on header only.

Would someone have an idea ?
I don't remember touching anything on the nav codes.

Having hard-coded widths definitely makes things harder, anyway to achieve what you want open rgs1.css change .resp-grid { width: 960px; } then also adjust .resp-grid .col11 { width: 640px; }
