I finally took the plunge to upgrade my customers site from 9.03.110 to 9.10.20 and now have a strange problem that I haven't been able to solve. No matter what I do or configure I still have the message that says No Content Modules Installed. Please take a look at the site to see what I am talking about first. https://fortworthbonsai.org
Well that fixed the initial problem however; I have 3 news items that I posted back in 2020 and news just does not show up. There is no news panel so I'm not sure whats wrong here.

I can see all 3 news items which are all 3 set to public. I can edit them. Still no news display on main page. I'm certain it has to do with my modified Atom-X theme because if I change themes the news shows. But I cannot seem to find anywhere in the theme where I need to change anything. Before upgrade to 9.10.20 news display was fine (same theme) so I am at a loss.

I do not understand. In my theme.php file I had the function_remove_hook for downloads; why would that affect the news display? I removed the hook and news now displays fine. Explanation please??
