The next major version of Fusion is not near release yet. I hope for understanding when I say that it is not possible today to give a date.

Keff says it's not ready for release yet. He means it's not ready for release yet. He / the team cannot give you a date. Go with the current latest version - upgrades are easy! :)

Isn't it typical; When I started with Php-Fusion I felt it was upgraded every month. Yes, I was a bit tired of it because I had modified my site too much *lol*. Now I feel it takes "ages" until we can open a new Php-Fusion present :D.

Indeed Ken, but that also means that when the new one is out, we will wait ages on implementation due to heavily modded sites lol.

Is the current version safe enough to leave as is in case we dont want to upgrade our most modded sites?

In my case I have a series of modifications on maincore and other includes files that I have passed to other files... so i would hurt a lot everywhere if I had to overwrite all of it... >_<
