what about making the 'Powered by PHPFusion ...' an active link ?

Hehe, this guy can't win. Last time he posted his site there was a long thread about the credit line and the proper way to give credit.

PHPFusion is great and users of it should give the proper credit. Years of work have gone into this system. All for free! But I'll have to admit that I've never seen a more prickly bunch about "Powered by" than people on here.

last time i posted my site, the copyright notice said something like : Engine powered by:php-fusion.
and everybody was extreamly mad at me, and told me to change it to what i curently have now...

but i am just wondering why nobody are mad at the user "Catzenjaeger"
he posted his Unreal tournement site ut2k7.de -> http://www.ut2k7.de, and it just have the text: site powered by php-fusion... nobody are telling him to change his copyright notice. hmm.. very strange.. because he have posted his site with that copyright notice a few times now.

and by the way, the only thing i was hopeing to hear, was a few comments on the design.. not about the copyright notice again, because i changed it so that there is no "misuse" of the cms. because some people thought that i did not respect the maker of php-fusion.

Probably the above mentioned site didn't get "a hard time" because his copyright actually links to PHPFusion main site? (unlike yours)
Give full credit (or buy a license - they do not cost a lot of money. Even better, both).

thats a good point... it is infact a very good way to keep the cms free.. digi deserves to get a little money out of all that hard work....

Huu? i have dont change the copyright notice in my footer this is the orginal copyright why? i hacve respect for the makers on fusion and help where i can other users

the copyright what you mean is the the copyright of my contents not for fusion - you can find it unter -- admin --> general seetings--> site footer

this text is free changable for everyone have a site and its not the copyright of fusion

look here is the site copyright (orginal by theme i have only add my link well i have mod the theme to a unreal theme (the maker of the orginal theme know that . he have help me)

@Catzenjaeger: nobody's giving you a hard time about your footer. It's just fine. Read the above thread, it's just mistake your site got dragged into the debate. No worries m8! :)
