I was trying to upgrade my site to 7.01 from 7.00 and after i clicked Upgrade in the Admin Panel i got this message.

Please replace these lines with the lines in your config.php!
<?php
// database settings
$db_host = "mysqldb1.ehost-services.com";
$db_user = "enimal";
$db_pass = "*********";
$db_name = "enimal_fsh";
$db_prefix = "fusion_";
define("DB_PREFIX", "fusion_");
define("COOKIE_PREFIX", "fusion3k5K3_");
?>

The site doesnt work properly now. It has a lot of errors. Index.php doesn't work at all, and news.php has many errors.

I was actually trying to upgrade to 7.02, and was going through the steps by upgrading to 7.01 first.

I'm using a theme called 2point0, if that helps.

Restore your backup, and do all the updates, step by step.

How can I restore my backup? I can't get into my Admin Panel since the site loads up with errors.

I have to do all the 7.00.x updates before i do the 7.01 right?

Yes, it's right.

You can restore your backup with the fresh installed PHPFusion (version must be equal to "your backup version"wink

Did you uploaded all the new files after performing the upgrade?
Remember when you upgrade you also load the new locale files and the upgrade.php file.

So just install 7.00 from the beginning, just like creating a new site for the first time? and then load the backup?

Yes I did. But i guess the problem was that I didn't do all the 7.00 updates before going to 7.01

If you have a backup, you can simply put it back online, then upgrade properly. :)

Import the original data base and re-upload the version you originally had 7.0.0x
If you backed up your DB prior to upgrading, something you should do regularly anyway

I try restore on Admin Panel with the unzipped backup file and nothing happens. it looks like it goes through correctly but no changes to the website.

I tried running teh SQL code on phpmyadmin but after taking forever i just get "The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading"
