Guys i thought this was database error, but after converting and changing default characters same issue appeares.

Even if i delete database and just run setup.php error shows right away during the installation.

All swedish letters get �, but when writing news swedish letters appear without any problems.

Changed even direct english/global.php just one word and same thing happens.

What could it be?:@

The database you are installing to must be the same character set and collation as the previous one.

The default values in a MySQL database should be:
- character set: latin1
- collation: latin1_swedish_ci

However, you should create (not change after) the database from scratch with the previous settings.

Nah, actually mysql database was set to latin1, tried with utf8 also, but as i said "apache" couldnt read swedish letters.

I found out why after opening translation files in Word and i saw that encoding was done in windows and not UTF-8.

After opening file in notepad and saving with UTF-8 encoding it worked like a charm.

Now i have to open each file and save it like that i guess. BLAH
