Super Admin

On behalf of the Management Team and Developer Team, we wish everyone here A Mery Christmas Day.

I remembered just last year this day was spent rather excitingly here on PHPFusion as we were going to unfold a new concept for the new version. In fact, the hierarchy functions we had today was written on this day itself, last year. This year by this time, we are using it for the forum, and the rest of the systems were also enabled with it.

And as of 5 minutes ago, the theme engine is now released on Github, and is developed to work on 9.00. If you are going to download the latest as of this day. Go to admin, change the URL to www. Your site . com / theme.php?aid=xxxxxxxx to see it in action. What it does is allow users to rebuild a full bootstrap according to your settings which creates an overlay on top of your theme styling. We did not enable it just yet, because further tests were required. Please expect it working by end of this month.

Themes are far more superior in 9.00 then in 7.00, as we are very close to a 100% theme render control. With this new theme editor for users, you don't have to go editing CSS anymore. :G

Dynamics Oriented User Fields are rolled out early this month, allowing you to create unlimited User Fields for your user profiles. But we will not stop here. I personally want to see Articles fly in remarkable results with Quantum soon. To enable articles to be able to add unlimited fields to its content by admin settings. So you can design your own articles admin, and set it out for everyone.

Blog sections received a good update on its template to look like Blog instead of news. We did slight alterations on the render functions end. Soon, we also want to roll out Date Categories, Archive functions for it.

News will go a separate path. Currently the plans will involve in attaching or combining galleries after galleries to each news piece. We want to run it so it can address a new shop item. We want it to run so it can showcase a latest available web links or downloads in its centerpiece. To link news with all core systems in its fields. You can select an eshop item, display a category, etc.

But before we can do that, we must be able to reach a stable point, and we will be making a first 9.00 stable first before continue to develop on these. And yes, prototyped have even done, and I personally have confidence it will be rolled out as soon as Stable version rolls out.

We think this is a rather exciting moment for all of us. The vision ahead is just awesome. It will keep rolling in, because development from Stable point onwards will be very smooth, as we can draw very large systems faster and more efficiently on the new core.

Language translations are now available on Git. I decided to let everyone run their locale updates so we can get them all in 1 place and sync it in 1 place too. As we mentioned it, Github is the Developer Lab. We have 4 language now, with English as base. Everyone is welcome to submit push request to it. Locale builds will be accepted to merge.

A build compiler will be available in this website later to customize your download of the Stable when it's ready.

That's half time report for those who want the sypnosis so far for the new Version.

OK, today is Christmas Day, and we must allow everyone to rest, and spend their time with families and not the computers and servers! We thank everyone here that have kept in support of this beautiful project.

But now.. It's time to find Santa Claus and a --- Ho Ho Ho, Merry Christmas everyone!
