Great! - Yes, the "Mysql Administrator" software (link here) is great for making database backups :).

Thanks everyone.Mysql file size is 4 Mb.
It's not larger. My web space is 500 Mb and very quality server.
Now I'll try Mysql Admin..

Try to back up a few tables only in order to reduce the sql size. If that works then you have a server limitation which cause your complete backup to stall.

how large is ur database? it takes it a while to back it up and present it to you ... and if u have too large a databse it'll 'timeout' and won't work ... i'm not sure if this problem has been fixed by now or not, but haven't heard much regarding this issue.

my other site database became too huge once i installed the flash chat, cause of the bots and all.

I am using a Windows server and I can setup permissions settings from my control panel. I changed /administration/db_backups/ permissions.

Please check if /administration/db_backups/ folder is chmoded to 777.

Yes I am writing same password and I am selecting all db then click backup button.But doing nothing.
