changing web hosts

I just moved my site to a new host, and it doesn't seem to be working. I copied the databases, and put the new values in the config.php file, but the site is coming up with lots of weird errors. Maintenance mode comes up when you access the site, and if you login, stuff is all weird. I was not in the middle of upgrading versions of PHP either.

Version of PHP: tried 5.3, didn't work at all. Site is weird in PHP 4
Version of MySQL: 5
Have you searched for your problem: yes

State the nature of your problem: Numerous display errors, and the site is displaying old set up and posts instead of current ones: Notice: Undefined index: sitebanner2 in /home/dosaku/www/test/includes/theme_functions_include.php on line 67

Hostgator is awesome. Anytime you need help, you can go into live chat
Have used Hostgator for quite awhile and they are excellent. Their support is second to none as well. Good choice.

Glad to hear Host Gator is good. I am looking at installing PHPFusion on my Host Gator site, but wasn't sure how well it would run.

Oh, never mind! I had copied two separate databases in by mistake, one was an older version. I created a new single database, and now it works fine.
