Hi,

I'm trying to find the colour code for the background of the welcome panel - I'm using the Valenca theme - it's a grey colour. I've had a look in various php files but I can't locate the exact code.

Any ideas where I'll find it, or can somebody give me the exact colour code?

Thanks

Lee

Edit - it's also that grey when you're viewing forum posts etc....

Ahhh - my original post....yes I did try that... I looked at the styles.css files for the theme, but I didn't know what the portion (not sure that's the correct terminology!) of code I was looking for....

Anyway - I think I've found it: .newsbody - #E1E7EB

Ummm...still not working as I'd like....

If you look at my homepage (no need to sign in - this ad only displays for non-members / guests) you'll see a google leaderboad ad. The background is the correct colour, but the rest of the panel isn't. How do I specify the panel type when creating a new panel so it picks up the correct colours from the style.css file?

I assume this is the right way to do it?

I guess you used openside() and closeside(). For Cener tables you should use opentable() and closetable() instead.

I see what you mean now.

Opentable and openside are defined with 2 different classes in the Valencia theme.

Try changing your code to "opentable" which would be the proper way.

Ahhh - spot on!! :D Now it has the correct colors!

I did pick the wrong background colour - it should be .tbl1 color!

Thanks very much - a virtual beer for you! :)
