Notice: Please be aware any connectivity issues to the Fusion Network hosted on the catalyst server in the US may be directly related to the cross continent fibre optic data lines that were recently severed. Several countries such as Iran and Cairo are completely without internet and it will take time for the internet issues to be resolved. For reasons unknown to me the Dutch support site is down. I am not holder of the hosting account and the holder and co-superadmin has not yet responded to my queries. I have send a request to the hosting provider to sort things out but have not yet received a reply (and they may not even respon because I am not holder of the account). Sorry all, PHP Fusion maxed its resources again this month. Thats ok tho, I just allocated another 20GB to the account . Shouldnt have any problems next month with this, but then again I said the same thing last month. I underestimated the popularity of PHP Fusion!

I want to stress something before any issues arise. There have been some concerns as of late to official support sites and those that can offer support on behalf of PHP Fusion and the rest of the UK Team. First and foremost because of alot of language barriers it is hard to convey and confirm the authenticity or quality of support on each support site or what the support sites are doing. If you notice that a support site is doing something that is questionable please do not hesitate to report it to a high level/ranking administrator here on UK. With that said please also note that any copyright violations in regards to the support sites will not be taken lightly. All support sites should follow copyright law to the T and not re-use any poject, piece of code or intellectual property without expressed permission from its owner. The main PHP Fusion Network Servers were attacked today by a website hosted on the Surf Town Network. I have blocked the offending IP's and reported this incident to Surf Town staff. Please bare with us over the next few hours while we deal with the situation. Apparently this is a broader range attack than what was anticipated. Several networks are now attacking the servers. We are attempting to filter the attack as quickly as possible. However service will be interrupted and or slowed during the attacks. Update: The attacks have been dealt with and resolved. The Domain of the German support site is not accessible at the moment due to problems with the German top level domain manager. New domains have already been registered and for the time being the site is accessible via http://phpfusion-cms.de

The entire PHP Fusion Network except for the national sites will be down this Saturday after 10PM PST (GMT -3??) We will be upgrading the current power grid and data connection grid to allow for further expansion. I would expect at least a 3hour downtime period. Along with this move will be a new class C IP set for PHP Fusion. CLASS C: 216.218.221.0/24 - Im not sure which IP Fusion UK will receive yet but as soon as I know I will let everyone else know. As always we will keep you advised of any developments. PS. The downtime scheduled for Fusion Mods and Fusion Beta has been re-scheduled to Saturday after we finish the maintenance work. The issue was related to the main DC router which happened to fail at approximately midnight last night EST(GMT -5) and just recently was replaced today around 7PM EST(GMT -5). We will be under going some major server maintenance in the next few days which may require us to take the server offline for about 24 hours. We are actually moving physical locations from one datacenter to another so the time between transit and the time to hook up and re-evaluate everything may only take a couple hours or it could take close to 24. What will take atleast 24 hours will be the domain name propagation when we switch IP's. I will post the direct IP to the new fusion server when it becomes available. English, Belgian, Bulgarian, Danish, French, German, Hungarian, Iranian, Italian, Lithuanian, Dutch, Norwegian, Polish, Russian, Swedish and Turkish translators and proofreaders are most welcome to apply for translation work! We have heaps of stuff to translate in a not to distant future, so please apply if you are skilled in English and devoted to translation. Some of the above mentioned languages are already covered for, nevertheless it can be very useful to have more than one translator per language. So, please apply even if there happens to be a translator for a language. We need translation of news, locale language files, but also documentation, licenses, rules and regulations and possibly also manuals.
