Statement

Statement
You may have noticed that a statement I made on Saturday was retracted. I needed time to reflect on what has been a very testing week. As you are all aware, a few months ago a management team was formed in order to reduce my general work load and to bring a better state of organisation. You have seen the plans outlined by janmol and KEFF which give a clear indication of the direction we are moving in. Unfortunately some of our plans have caused some upset resulting in a few long term members stepping down from their official positions. I want to make it clear that nobody was forced to step down. Click Read More to read the rest of this statement.

I chose janmol and KEFF because I have known them personally for almost 3 years, they have always been there for me to offer advice on many issues. I trust them implicitly as I know they would not do anything to harm PHPFusion. Although Aquarian is a relatively new member she has spent a huge amount of time providing support to members here and has been very friendly towards me. KEFF brought her into the MT with my sincere permission. To clarify, the MT is responsible for all decisions and planning under my guidance meaning that I can concentrate on what I do best, development. Management wise PHPFusion has been in a state of chaos with little or no guidelines. The new MT have been working tremendously hard to implement the new guidelines and I am 100% behind them and the new structure being implement.

I can only apologise to anyone who has been upset by these decisions and I can honestly say that I and the MT are equally as upset. However, we will continue with our restructuring as life goes on. I and the MT are saddened by the recent public outbursts which in our opinion are uncalled for. We invite these individuals to discuss their problems with myself and the MT in private. It's not that we have anything to hide as we have been very open and honest, but having arguments in public is tarnishing the reputation of PHPFusion and our community unity.

All I am asking for is for some respect for the hard work that the MT are doing. I have no wish to get involved in any arguments and simply want everyone to get along or move on. What's done is done, there is no going back and as far as I am concerned that is the end of the matter. If anyone has any questions please feel free to contact myself or a member of the MT.

Thank you for reading.
