During the course of the day I will be doing MAJOR server updates, upgrading from Apache 1x, PHP 4x and MySQL 4 to Apache 2.2x, PHP 5x and MySQL 5x. This will be a long progression and users may notice some intermittent downtime while the updates are in progress. I thank you for your attention and patience with this matter and I hope to have the server running as optimally as it has for the past year and a half.
Update: **wipes brow** phew... Well after a long grueling experience upgrading to Apache 2.2x, PHP 5.2x, and MySQL 5x I think were out of the dark here. ... After finalizing the last system updates for the night (kernel upgrade, etc) and rebooting the system for all the new updates to take effect it seems as if we are golden. Any system oddities should be reported to digitanium, pmm or primarily myself. I have the hopes that the system will be able to perform for another year or so with no problems!
